The Gallery; Playtime

Here are the Littleboys on their trampoline, shortly after it arrived in our lives in May. (Note to the health and safety police; we do now have a safety net for it. )
It's been a huge hit, and I could spend many paragraphs describing why, but I think the picture says it all, really......
This post is for The Gallery; this week's topic, playtime.

So many peeps posted trampolines this week. The boys would love one, but mummy has said no!

when i saw the pic i was thinking 'where's the net, where's the net?' (i am a health and safety freak)

trampolines are the best - hours of good tiring fun...

Fab pic! x

One of the kids biggest regrets is that we don't have a tramoline. Or a swimming pool. Or a huge lawn.
Poor things.

We love our trampoline. Or we did... tip from the top (especially now you have the safety net) if it isn't already secured down, get it secured.... ours cartwheeled into the flowerbed in a high wind a couple of weeks ago and is now in the garage with six broken uprights....

If my lot had a trampoline they would have competitions to see who could jump on to the first floor balcony. Of the neighbours.

Something like that anyway.

Don't want to give them funny ideas now, do we?

I was going to post a trampoline pic, but couldn't find my damn camera!

I must say, I've never seen a yellow trampoline (and I've seen a lot of trampolines in my time), only blue. Yellow trampolines ... Well, you learn something new everyday!

Such fun! But tell me....do you and the Dr ever sneak on for a cheeky bounce?

We miss our trampoline, we had to give it away when we moved and the boys still pine for it.

I hope you get on it too. Fantastic exercise and keeps the neighbours entertained!

The Madhouse - the boys always wanted one too and finally we gave in - but it really has been worth it!

Elsie - we didn't put the net up for a couple of weeks as they sent the wrong bits - that had various neighbours freaking out!

ExpatMum - I bet they have a pretty good time though in Chicago....

planb - scary! Ours isn't tethered but it stayed in place during the 'tornado' last week so we must have been lucky.

LCM - oh yes, there's lots they can do with a trampoline. We have a rule - no toys on it....

Glummy Mummy - is is really that unusual? Must be an American colour...

Mud - oh yes, we do bounce on it ourselves. Although not usually at the same time!

Lorna - see above, and yes, it is great exercise.....

our neighbours have a trampoline and needless to say our two are always trying to sneak across the street to jump on it with their mates. It's fabulous for us to sit there and watch them get exhausted on it. It seems a fair swap, though, that mine go over there for jumping fun and theirs come over here for getting dirty and exloring, erm, the *cough* natural habitat of an unkempt garden?

What a happy picture. I plan to get my daughter and nephew a trampoline to stop them jumping on the beds, sofas......

Funny how they fuzz about the nets today. I have never used a trampoline with a net, I think none of us ever has. And still, nobody broke their neck.
