Transplanted from Southwest London to Long Island, USA.
Beautiful colours (and just a tad different to the autumn I photographed for my Silent Sunday!)
The colours are spectacular...bet The Boys weren't being silent at all
That bush is called...oh bother, I can't remember. It's on the tip of my tongue and it's going to annoy me all day. Begins with S.
Had to go and look it up on the side of a tube of Benadryl. Sumac. It can bring you out in a rash (hence its name on the Benadryl tube.) I'm not absolutely sure I'm right, though, so ask a local or two.
Iota - oh, that's Sumac is it? Always gets lumped together with 'poison oak' so I was assuming it was a tree. Better keep the boys away from those bushes then - we've had several incidents with poison ivy already here.
Stunning. A lot nicer than the drizzle here :(
